At NKC Dartford College, we believe that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to learning. For students studying on a Further Education programme, we offer a range of financial support schemes to help you manage the costs associated with college life.
Student Financial Support is available for all NKC Dartford College students to apply for. This funding can help eligible students with contributions towards books, materials, kit and equipment, as well as free college meals and travel to and from college.
NKC Dartford College operates a range of bursary schemes to support students from lower-income households with the cost of attending college. These schemes are subject to government funding levels and are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
Government guidance is updated regularly and may affect eligibility for funding. Any changes to student finance guidance will be communicated to all members of the college community. It is your responsibility to inform the Department for Work and Pensions if you receive funding, as this may affect your entitlement to certain state benefits.
NKC Dartford College reserves the right to make changes to financial support provision in response to government guidance and other relevant factors.

Bursary awards are tailored to each individual student. The amount awarded will depend on your course, where you live, and how many days you attend college.
The Bursary is only a contribution towards course related costs and will not necessarily cover the full amount. These costs could include, but are not limited to the following:
