Miskin Theatre
The Miskin Theatre is a professional performance venue at NKC Dartford College where students studying Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance and Music gain hands-on experience in a real theatre environment.
Throughout the year, students rehearse, produce and perform live productions for public audiences, developing the technical, creative and performance skills needed for careers in the creative industries.
Working in a live venue gives learners valuable experience in performance, stage management, lighting, sound and production while building the confidence employers and universities value.

Why is it called the Osterberg Sports Centre?
The Osterberg Sports Centre takes its name from Madame Martina Bergman-Österberg (1849 -1915), a pioneering Swedish educator who played a significant role in the development of physical education in the UK.
Bergman-Österberg founded the Hampstead Physical Training College in 1885 before relocating it to Dartford, Oakfield Lane, in 1895, where it became internationally recognised for training women as physical education teachers. Her work transformed the teaching of sport and physical education, and she is widely regarded as one of the founders of modern physical education in Britain.
The connection to Dartford makes her legacy particularly significant to NKC Dartford College. Naming the Osterberg Sports Centre in her honour recognises her lasting contribution to sport, fitness and education in the local area.

The Lee Stafford Hair Salon at NKC Dartford College is part of the nationally recognised Lee Stafford Academy, making it one of only a select number of training academies across the UK.
